A PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW
ORDINARY PEOPLE.
UNEXPECTED
PLACES.
Charlie Franklin makes short films about ordinary people pushed further than they ever expected.
He likes a strong premise, a quiet image that says more than a line of dialogue, and an ending that stays with you after the screen goes dark.
His stories tend to start in familiar places, like a kitchen table, a gym, or an empty field, and then slip somewhere stranger. He’s drawn to underdogs, to hard choices, and to what it costs a person to keep going.
Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Charlie founded Tallamountoo Studios as a home for his films and the stories still taking shape.
FREEDOM ST.
Charlie is wrapping up Freedom St., a thriller about a man whose life begins to vanish one day at a time, with an original song written for its ending.
